About

I'm Nikhil. I build and run software products, and write about how it actually feels.

I am a serial entrepreneur and technologist. I have founded and built software ventures whose products and IP were acquired, hold approved patents, published peer-reviewed research, and led enterprise digital transformations at Accenture. Today I co-found and lead engineering as CTO at AvanSaber, an AI-native product studio, alongside my co-founder Varun Borawake, and I am a member of the Forbes Technology Council. We don't just advise on AI, we build and run the products we recommend across one of the broadest AI-native portfolios in the market, from conversational ERP to open-source testing tools. The discipline of operating what we ship is the thing I find most worth writing about.

Most of my days are some mix of code, strategy, and the quieter work of leading a team across several products at once. I care more about focus than speed, more about why than how, and more about finishing things than starting them.

This site is a notebook, not a brochure. The essays are first-person and unhurried: leadership lessons that survived contact with reality, the rituals that protect my best hours, and the technology I am genuinely, rather than performatively, excited about.
